At T.R.U.E. Life Lessons, we provide common sensible insights, empowerment, and training to aid and inspire students in their journey from academia to real world success.
We focus on teaching students how to apply their education to transition seamlessly from school to the professional realm in order to lead successful lives.
Joel Nurse
Founder
Learner. Dreamer. Teacher.
Joel is an educator that wants to spend the rest of his life doing that which he loves to do - teaching people how to be successful in living their lives. His common sensible presentation style, coupled with inspirational edification will impact his listeners to Create Intentionality, which simply means, to be on purpose.

A New York native, Joel grew up in the Bronx, NY, where he attended Theodore Roosevelt High School. Upon graduation, he went to Borough of Manhattan Community College. Later, he transferred to Baruch College where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He is now working towards his Masters and will ultimately pursue a Doctorate in education.​

Having worked a decade in academia with a complete understanding of the challenges students face as they transition from school to the work force, Joel is on mission to inform, inspire, and impact students to help them succeed in their personal and professional lives.

With common sense and inspiration, Joel speaks to the heart of a student. By being personally relatable, Joel is able to address personal challenges and offer real life solutions for students.

Great leaders are great communicators. We don't just teach students how to discover their own personal leadership, but also the effective communication that is required of a great leader. We also provide staff development to help teachers and educators better connect with their students.

Professional Student Development
We work with high level and at risk students alike to teach them the skills to help them connect the classroom to their life. Our professional development is design to teach students the essentials required to enable them to live a full and rich life.
